RDI Focus Area 4:
Maximizing Asset Value with an Integrated Digital Ecosystem
RDI Focus area 4 aims to optimize plant operations and maintenance efficiency using digital tools, hypothesizing that higher efficiency reduces emissions and waste.
The objective of the focus area is to combine proprietary and third-party technologies with digital tools through partnerships. The focus area also aims to enable the provision of comprehensive lifecycle services that ensure continuous support, optimization, and long-term sustainability for energy-intensive industries.
Achieving these objectives requires integrating systems and adjusting them to meet each other’s needs to form links in the Net Zero Energy Ecosystem. This work includes:
- Creating a unified process and data management system to optimize operations of both independent and integrated solutions.
- Integrating aspects like engineering data, usage, and maintenance for predictive operations and maintenance, as well as data feedback to enhance design and solutions, both during future concepting and throughout the lifecycle.
- Optimizing operational efficiency through continuous monitoring and machine learning improvements.
